Synesthesia

Recently I read a lot about synesthesia and the many types some people happen to experience. The one relating to color and taste is evidently fairly uncommon, but it's interesting to imagine what life must be like associating a taste sensation to a color or shade. You could quite possibly taste the rainbow.
